The Tallest Building in Florida

Bekir Okan, Turkish Billionaire developer, has plans to build a 70-story and 890-foot building in Miami. Okan Tower will be the Tallest building in Florida and will cost $300 million and is expected to be finished by 2024. Okan is expecting to break ground on the project within the first three months of 2020. The building, partnered with Hilton, will feature hotel rooms, condos, and office space. The condos will have several available amenities, including three pools, a cigar room, a wine cellar, and a movie theater. Concerns have been raised about the condo market being over-saturated and Okan's investment group responded by diversifying their US investment, investing is mixed-use developments, hotels, and student housing. The building will be the tallest building in Florida and will also be a haven in South Florida for Turkish investors.
