Highest CRE Investments on Record
CBRE’s Market Report says that 2020 will see the highest CRE investments on record. They estimate that investments will reach a half a billion dollar, though we will see slowed growth due to fear of a recession and changes in trade agreements. With low interest rates, low inflation, and strong consumer spending, there will be significant investments in housing developments, retail, data centers, office space, and industrial properties. Real estate remains a solid investment in 2020, despite tempered growth and uncertainty. The recession is likely to be avoided in 2020, primarily because the Fed's lowering of interest rates, population growth, and an optimistic investment environment.
