Commercial Real Estate Markets Are Still Strong
Many of the US's top retailers have close hundreds of stores, but commercial real estate vacancy rates are dropping. This is largely do to over expansion, not necessarily because of the decline in in-store sales. There is speculation of a recession within the next few years, but Central Florida showing the warning signs of a recession. Population growth, declining vacancy, and growing industries are ever present in Central Florida.While wage growth has lagged in Central Florida, this doesn't directly affect CRE sales. Central Florida is seeing huge population growth and will see the commercial real estate grow significantly. The future is an unknown, but retailers and the Central Florida commercial real estate industry are optimistic.
